Tabitha Cerberus is an award-winning cosplayer with over 10 years of experience in sewing, embroidery, and beading. She has made over 50 cosplays since then, and her current obsession is Chinese period anime and dramas. She is most known for her Lan Wangji, Princess Yona, and Undertaker cosplays.
Tabitha started sewing in the 8th grade, but cosplay really became a passion starting in 2013. Her first anime convention was in 2014 during her senior year of college. She debuted cosplays that she had worked on the year before. Since then, she has attended cons in Illinois, Texas, Indiana, Wisconsin, Georgia, Florida, and the country of Indonesia!
Tabitha sews, dyes, embroiders, and crafts various pieces for all her cosplays. Her favorite items to sew are jackets. She has worked with various types of materials including furs, leather, spandex, denim, and linens. At many conventions, she has hosted beginner panels for sewing and photography. She has won many awards for cosplay including a Judge’s Award and two First Place Awards for Beginner and Intermediate levels.
She is also a Brand Ambassador for Minerva.com – a British fabric company she has used to make cosplays as they have a nice selection of suitings, linens, and other fabrics.
